Otocec in Slovenia welcomes the first Rough Diamonds training camp in 2017. The ITTF Education and training project is a new initiative for young talented players in the U13-U15 age group that have already showcased their abilities and skills in the international arenas and are aspiring candidates in the road to excellence.

The talented group of cadets from all continents and of the With the Future of Mind scholarship holders will practice nine days at the Slovenian National Team training center from 25 September to 3 October under the leadership of cutting edge coaches Joze Urh,Vesna Ojstersek and Andreja Ojstersek Urh.

Players coming from 22 countries will profit from the four main components of the newest addition to the ITTF Athlete Development Model, the “Rough Diamonds” training camps, with a focus on quality coaching, quality training, individual approach and motivational education.
Definitely a week to raise standards in competitive table tennis..
