Report from NHW in Saudi Arabia Dec 23-29 



Youssef Rabie and Abduaziz Altaher have been the driving force behind first National Hopes Week organized in Saudi Arabia. Youssef has brought up several generations of Egyptian national team players. He has experience from several hopes weeks organized at national, continental and world level. Abdulaziz is a member of Saudi Table Tennis Federation and attended World Hopes Week in Vienna in 2013.

The project has been endorsed by the Saudi Ministry of sport. President of Saudi TTF, Bandar Alselim has visited event and encouraged participants.




Physical trainingEvent served also as a qualification for Arab Hopes Week in Bahrain, January 27 - February 2, 2015.

Eleven players from the biggest Gulf country participated. Ten of them were born in 2003-04 and two young ones, borne in 2005 were gaining experience for coming events. 

Youssef Rabie: " Three days of hard practice,  two table tennis sessions daily were organized with 30 minutes of warming and Educational Sessionfitness followed by 100 minutes of table tennis exercises. At the end of day we had organized some education sessions for all players and their coaches. Day 4 and 5 was the Challenge."
