The ITTF Education and Training Programme is, in close cooperation with the URC, proud to announce the third edition of the Young Umpires’ Project – an exciting educational project targeting young umpires eager for international recognition.

The Young Umpires’ Project is focused on the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, but it will also provided excellent future opportunities for aspiring officials.

In October 2018, it is time for the third Youth Olympic Games to be organized in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Youth Olympic Movement is an important platform for ITTF, not only to highlight the general development and progress of our sport but also to initiate new projects that should strengthen the ITTF brand. Successfully introduced for the Singapore Youth Olympic Games, the Young Umpires’ Project is a central piece of that overall process.
Our main target is now to engage a quality group of aspiring young officials from all over the world, highly motivated, sharing our ambition to make the Table Tennis event in Buenos Aires a unique and outstanding experience.

The ITTF Young Umpires’ Project is a world-wide educational project built on the pillars of Ambition, Success and Reward.
